🌿 The Farm Stay Apartment

This charming upstairs apartment offers a front-row seat to farm life. Gaze out over the goats, hear the chickens cluck their morning hellos, and let the day unfold at your own pace. Perfect for solo travelers, couples, or small families who want a true “boots-on” farm experience—with modern comforts just steps away.
🐮 The Highland Cottage
Romantic & restful — nestled by the Highland cattle pasture
Tucked at the far end of the farm, this storybook-style tiny house is made for privacy and peaceful mornings. The view? Majestic Highland cows grazing just outside your window. The vibe? Cozy, quiet, and wrapped in twinkle lights. Ideal for couples, solo writers, or anyone craving a countryside escape.
🌾 The Whole Farm Stay
Exclusive & expansive — both spaces, all to yourself
Gather your people and make the farm your own. Booking the entire property gives you full access to both the barnyard apartment and the Highland Cottage. Perfect for family gatherings, two-couple getaways, or memory-making weekends with friends. More space, more stories, and all the goats you can handle.
What does a stay at Little Tail Farms include?
Private lodging, views of the farm and animals, access to pastures and barn yard to play with the animals, access to outdoor spaces, and a private tour.

Are children allowed at the farm?
Yes. Children are welcome with supervision.
What is provided in the lodging?
Each lodging space includes bedding, towels, heating and air, kitchen essentials, and outdoor seating. Both spaces are fully private and stocked with the basics you need for a comfortable stay.
When is check-in and check-out for your Farm Stay?
Check-in is after 3:00 PM Central / 4:00 PM Eastern. Check-out is by 11:00 AM Central / 12:00 PM Eastern. Our Guide Book has more detailed information to help you plan your stay.
What animal interactions can guests expect at Little Tail Farms during their stay?
At Little Tail Farms, guests are warmly invited to engage with our diverse and friendly array of animals. During your stay, you have the opportunity to bond with and care for our gentle creatures, which include Scottish Highland Cattle, Nigerian Dwarf Goats, Alpacas, and more. These hands-on experiences not only allow you to enjoy a unique family experience but also provide educational and memorable moments that bring you closer to nature.
Are pets allowed?
Yes! We’re pet-lovers too.
Pets are welcome as long as they stay on a leash and under your care when outside. For everyone’s safety, pets are not allowed inside pastures with our farm animals.
