Where & How to Feed
To protect you and our animals, please feed treats only from outside the fence.
No matter how gentle our crew seems, animals can get excited around food.
Please do not bring treats inside the pastures —this helps prevent crowding, nibbles, and unwanted goat hugs.
Treat Time
We provide farm-approved treats, and we’re happy to share! If you'd like more during your stay, just ask—we’ll restock you.
Want to bring your own snacks? You’re welcome to bring fruit and veggies (goats love apples, carrots, cucumbers, and lettuce). Please slice everything into small, manageable pieces—think bite-sized for tiny mouths.
Highland Cattle Interaction
Our Highland cattle are beautiful, gentle giants, but they're also big, strong and have horns.
Please do not enter their pasture. Enjoy them from behind the fencing, and yes, they still love to be admired.
Agritourism Notice (as required by Tennessee law)
By visiting Little Tail Farms and participating in any farm-related activities, you acknowledge the inherent risks that come with agritourism—including interaction with animals, uneven terrain, and exposure to farm equipment.
By entering the property, you assume full responsibility for your participation and release the farm from liability, as permitted under Tennessee law.
Full details are posted on official signage located on-site.
Thank you for respecting the land, the animals, and the spirit of shared experience that makes the farm so special.
